It’s just another New Year’s Eve

Here is another card I created to celebrate the arrival of 2012. This one was made based upon a card sketch posted at PaperArtistsOnline.

The card base is the chocolate silky cardstock from Club Scrap’s Ivory Elegance. The sparkle doesn't show up well in my photo but the Sparkly white swoosh was cut from a DCWV paper stack called Immortal Love (a knock off from the Twilight series). The card panel is from the DCWV Tattered Time paper stack. The sentiment was printed from my computer using the Lucida Calligraphy font. The small black gear was cut with Donna Salazar Spellbinder nestie. The champagne flute was cut on my Silhouette and then inked with Encore Champagne ink. Thanks for looking.

Happy New Year

Card made for the Club Scrap January 2012 Card Sketch Challenge. Card base is from Musical Interlude. Triangles were made with POPS from Ornamental. Embossing folder from Cuttlebug. Embossed images inked with Versafine Onyx black and Brilliance Cosmic Copper inks. Fiber from stash. Champagne flute cut on Silhouette and inked with Encore Champagne ink (genius stroke, that). Thanks for looking.

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas

Made a digital layout for a Challenge at Club Scrap. It was challenging, to be sure. And I doubt I will ever print it. But at least I now have the photos formatted and ready to print the old-fashioned way for a “real” layout. These photos were all taken during the holiday season in Gold River, Folsom, Elk Grove, Sonoma, Reno, Chico and Auburn.

Happy Birthday, Mark

This is the card I created for the Club Scrap December Card Sketch Challenge. I wanted to make a masculine card for the DH of my friend Squirrely Nancy. All supplies are Club Scrap including a card base from Farmers Market. Panels are from Destination. Stamps are from Haberdashery and Dashing. Brads from stash. All edges inked with Black Soot Distress Ink.
