This layout is based upon the Lovely Little Layers idea in my Scrapbooking Outside the Pocket class over at BPC. However, I'm not really much of a layering person. I tried to embellish in threes which is about all I'm capable of pulling off. Pocket cards from Becky Higgins Vintage Travel kit by Crate Paper. Photos show Mom with Bush 41 on the streets of Rapid City where there is a bronze of the first 43 presidents on each street corner. I photographed as many of them as I could. There will be another facing page at some point with more of the Presidents. Thanks for taking a look.

Tiyospaye
The second assignment this week in Monica Bradford's great class Scrapbooking Outside the Pocket called for a T-design layout. I used digital images from the Becky Higgins Kerri Bradford Cinnamon kit printed on my inkjet printer. Not overwhelmed with the quality but it gets the job done. I may try glossy photo paper next time. The photo of my Mom in Chamberlain, SD, before a Tiyospaye Banquet at Cedar Shore Resort on behalf of St. Joseph Indian School. I like this design a lot and will use it again even though I'm not a fan of one photo pages. There will be more photos and words on the facing pocket page. Thanks for surfing by.

Week One - Weekly Chronicles
Back to the Weekly Chronicles project over at Club Scrap. This first week, our focus was on Resolutions. One of my yearly resolutions is to make exercise an important part of my daily life. On New Year's Day, hubby and I took our traditional walk to the American River to start the year off right. This layout was made with a Becky Higgins Project Life template, modified for my photos, and the kit called Aurora Borealis by Club Scrap. Thanks for looking.

Week 14 - Weekly Chronicles
For this week's Project 366 Weekly Chronicle, I used digi paper from the latest Club Scrap kit Come Sail Away. I recolored the "papers" a bit to suit the photos being used. The journal card was a freebie from The Splendidly Imperfect Miss M. As always, the templates are from Becky Higgins' Project Life through Jessica Sprague. Thanks for looking.

Weekly Chronicles - the Lost Weeks - 11 and 12
Oooops, just discovered I failed to upload my Weekly Chronicles for Weeks 11 and 12. Layout templates are from Becky Higgins Project Life digi templates from Jessica Sprague and placed on digi papers from Club Scrap. Journaling cards are both snagged from freebie sites on the internet. Thanks to those generous scrappers. Thanks to you for looking.
