Winter

This card was made using a stamp I bought last year but had never used. YAY! Using my stash.
It's a lovely collage stamp from Memory Box. I stamped it on Bristol cardstock and Stickled the pine cones. The cardinal is my Martha Stewart punch (also Stickled) covering a different nondescript bird on the stamp. I just have to use as many cardinals as I can. I am posting this card in honor of the first day of Winter. The paper panel is from the 2012 Simon Says Stamp December card kit. Thanks for visiting.

Happy Birthday, Saralee

Today my good friend Saralee in Pompano Beach is celebrating her birthday. She is starting a new story in her life and I felt this card would be an appropriate greeting for her at this time. Still using the Simon Says Stamp Season of Thanks card set along with a Memory Box balloon die and a sentiment stamp from My Favorite Things. I'm sure I copied the ideas on this card from someone on the web but unfortunately, I can't credit her. Hope Saralee has a wonderful day. Thanks for looking!

Fun

And this is another card following the June Card Sketch challenge at Club Scrap. First time I have inked up these stamps from the Up Up and Away kit. I know, I should be ashamed of myself. A little trick I played: I used my small Memory Box balloon die to cut out a piece of white cardstock. Then I stamped a huge balloon stamp over it, placing it just so with my redneck Position It. Makes it look like I have a stamp to match my die. Then I used my Bic Mark Its to color the basket part of the image in brown. Clever, eh??? Thanks for looking.

Distressed Tree

Surprise! This one is not from Simon Says Stamp. It's another one for the Card Sketch over at Club Scrap. All materials are from Club Scrap kits with the exception of the tinsel from May Flaum and the triangle tree which is Bristol Smooth cut on Silhouette and then colored with Distress Stains. Yum. The banner was cut with my new Memory Box Simon Says Stamp die. Thanks for looking.

Sending Holiday Cheer

Following May Flaum over at Camp Scrap: Holiday 2012 Edition, I created this Clean and Simple Card in under 30 minutes. Last week, I bought the adorable Hot Air Balloon die by Memory Box while shopping at the new location of Paper Garden. I have been itching to try it and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. All papers and the stamp are from the December Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. I'm telling you, ya really gotta check it out. Thanks for looking.
