This is the final week of Club Scrap’s Summer Camp PSL. This week we are challenged to use a Club Scrap stencil and/or art media on our pages. I created four layouts to date and post them here for your viewing pleasure.
This one is about a stop Chrissie and I made in 2008 after riding in the Princess Promenade bike event. We rode from the Discovery Park finish to downtown Sacto to catch the Lite Rail. I had always wanted to visit the Water Intake Building and took this opportunity to do so. It was designed to appear as a dragonfly hovering over the Sacramento River. Lots of glass and dots…for whatever reason.
Remember last year’s hard target search for Public Art Breast Cancer Ribbons. This is the first layout using those photos. I had to go with a color in the pink family for these ribbons photographed at Westfield Galleria and Thunder Valley Casino.
Waiting for our tour at Hearst Castle, Roy inspected the Hearst Fire Engine. The red and brass fittings on that truck were complimented perfectly by this particular kit papers. I had to do it.
On our way home from Cambria, we went south and visited the Elfin Forest near Morro Bay. I took photos of many of the flowers and tried to identify as many as possible. Also included a cute little lizard, just for fun.
Thanks for looking. All layouts created with Club Scrap materials, Kits used include Solstice, Welcome, Gratitude, Blossom and Sonoma.
you chose wisely the kits for each of the sets of photos. The Solstice works great with those dots. The ribbon layouts is so pretty. They all have such a great flow to them, and I love the lizard ;-)
ReplyDeleteAll lovely....could Solstice be any better for those photos? I think not. Well done Sis, they are all p-e-r-f-e-c-t!
