A very happy birthday to my little sister Chrissie. I made this card using a set of stamps from Darcie's gifted to me for my birthday by that very same sister. The stamp set is called Let the Good Times Roll. The papers used are from American Crafts Shoreline. All edges distressed with Ranger inks. The sketch is from Operation Write Home. The good times always roll when I'm with my sis. Hope you have a happy day!

Club Scrap June Hopes Blog Hop
Here we are again for another adventure hopping through the Blogosphere. If you are hopping along, you have joined me from Shonascraps. This month we are creating projects from the June kit called Hopes. Here's a link if you'd like to check it out. I made a layout and a card from the digi kit. All digi images were printed with my Canon inkjet printer on Bristol Smooth.
Another layout using the Allison Davis 6x6 sketch class. I created 6x6 papers using the digi papers in the kit. Then I cut them down to 2 inch squares for this particular layout. I'm just too cheap to print anything larger than 6x6 on my home inkjet printer. I'm also not that impressed with the results of printing "paper" on that printer so I think any future digi work will be ALL digi or else using graphics only. The layout base and square embellishments were from the Rhapsody and Henna kits. I used Distress Inks to ink all of the edges. The card base was also from Rhapsody. The squares were created using my old square Creative Memories Shape Maker. And the Heart is from a Stampin' Up Embosslit.
Thank so much for coming by to see my stuff. If you want to continue on the hop, please take a leap over to visit Debby at Masculine Inspirations. If you've wandered in here while cruising down a rabbit hole in the blogosphere, head back to Club Scrap Creates were this hop starts. You don't want to miss the wonderful goodies prepared by my Club Scrap friends.

Don't Forget to Smile
I'm on a roll. This is my first ever card made with a sketch from My Favorite Things for Wednesday Stamp Club. I'm not quite sure I posted it properly over at Splitcoaststampers but I exercised my crafty muscle by making a card for the sketch and attempting to post it. That's all that counts. This card uses the Simon Says Stamp card kit for April 2013 which featured papers from Fancy Pants Park Bench. The stamp is my new favorite little girl from My Favorite Things called Little Shutterbug. I made a weak attempt at paper piecing but still don't have the courage to color the little girl. Thanks for looking.

Operation Write Home Sketch #177
My first card using a sketch from Operation Write Home. This one is for Sketch #177. I used a Technique Tuesday stamp gifted to me by my good friend Farley along with the Fancy Pants papers from Simon Says Stamp April 2013 Card kit. This is a fun card. Thanks for looking.

You're a Real Crackerjack
Just a quick card I put together Saturday afternoon for my hubby to give him on Father's Day. I used a new set (to me) from Artistic Outpost called Cracker Jack and this card is a direct CASE of one created by Lisa Somerville in their Gallery. Of course, I changed the hat and shirt to red in honor of our beloved Cincinnati Reds. I hope to make many more cards from this set, my first ever baseball set of stamps. All cardstock is Club Scrap. Ranger Archival Sepia ink used to stamp images. All edges inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. Thanks for looking.
