Spent a lovely afternoon making cards with Farley yesterday. Before we started, however, it was imperative to make a shopping run to Stampers Corner in Elk Grove. I tried to resist buying this new stamp set but its will was too strong. It's a stamp line from My Favorite Things and oh, my, gosh, Farley, I have discovered there are hundreds of them. Take a look. Anyway, this one is called Peek-a-Boo. I just had to own her. The papers used are from the February Simon Says Stamp Card kit. I did do a tiny bit of paper piecing by stamping her dress on a separate piece of paper and cutting it out. Very bold, for me. I also colored her collar and flower in her hair with my new Inktense pencils. You can see I was really in a daring mood today. It was our goal to use up our kits. We were successful in make quite a few cards with this adorable kit. Unfortunately, I haven't yet used all of mine. That will take several more card making sessions. Thanks for looking.
well, she is pretty darned cute... even without eyes. Nice paper piecing work!
ReplyDeleteJust plain stinkin' cute. I'm sure there are eyes behind her hands, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'll allow this girl since she's hiding her eyes, but i will take issue with you buying any noseless, mouthless girls in the future.
ReplyDeleteI can't say i love the stamp, but i love what you've done with it :)
