P. S. I love You

On February 9, 1964, the Beatles appeared for the first time in the U.S. on the Ed Sullivan Show and my young heart was stolen forever by Paul McCartney. I can't let this anniversary pass without a love note to my Sweetheart!!!

This card was submitted at Club Scrap for a "faux postage" challenge presented by our friend Hetty in the Netherlands. All cardstock except Bristol Smooth is from Club Scrap. The card base is gatefold card from Autumn Splendor. Red panels are from Wheel & Sprocket. Black panels are from bag of black POPs and I can't for the life of me remember, right now, which kit. It's a black with white "hairs" showing in it. White Bristol Smooth panels stamped with unmounteds from All That Jazz. Heart cut on Silhouette is sprayed with Smooch and then Xmas Red Stickles. Text computer generated. The Beatles stamp has no ID but I bought it at a shop in Cambria. The shopkeeper told me it was from a designer in Las Vegas. Versafine Onyx ink used for stamping. Edged with black marker. Thanks for looking. Have a Hard Day's Night!!!

  1. a fun day for YOU... I remember vaguely seeing them on the Ed show. This card turned out really great and those stamps worked perfect for the background panels!

  2. I dont remember the Ed appearance myself due to my young age. Lol. This card is sooo u sis. Love every detail. The music images and tiny p.s. R so perfectly chosen!
