So I'm still working on the scraps from my Counterfeit Kit and have many more cards and layouts to complete but I did finish these two cards today. Both were taken from the Page Maps March Card Sketches which I love. I don't have the dies they used on their samples but I did have some similar shapes to substitute. That's what the Counterfeit Kit is all about. Making use of your stash. I just love these cards. And they are so different from my usual style. If you can't tell, I am definitely hooked on the Counterfeit way. Thanks for looking.
These are both very nice and i can see that they are a little different for you, but you did a fabulous job and still put a little of you in each one :).
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards, is too love to start with a sketch. There is still some Jen in them, but fun to stretch your wings a bit too.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards - I like the subtly of the scalloped boxes against the curves of the butterfly on that second one, especially. You certainly are making good use of your kit.
