28 Sketches - Day 6

This sketch gave me some fits as I don't have any smaller photos. I trimmed up some of these old 3 1/2x5 photos to make it work. Cardstock is from Club Scrap and American Crafts. I used some ancient stickers from Creative Memories which aren't really my style nowadays but were purchased  specifically for this trip. So, USE YOUR STASH. Text again is copied from my original 1989 trip diary with some info obtained from the 2012 Internet regarding the kauri trees. Thanks for looking.

  1. This sketch class is really working for you! I like this one a lot, has a good flow across the page and lots of room to put some journaling for those events/places that need a lot. ANd the sheep may be old, but they work!

  3. I am laughing at what Connie said about the sheep. But hey, you used your stash and they really do work. I particularly like the colors you chose for the papers. The blue sky is a beautiful contrast against the gold and reddish brown.
